A short session of Rock pools and Coastal erosion combined to form the Coastal Taster session to form a full 3-hour session.
The first part of this activity will be to get in amongst the rock pools. We will re-create mini rock pools and discover the very best of hiding places where we will find unusual looking seashore creatures.
The second part of this activity you will exploring the natural processes creating the erosion of the land and the removal of beach sediments along the North Norfolk Coastal Line. We look at the cliffs and determine what possible effects of this has on the people in the area.
We are most known for our ‘Out of the classroom’ outlook on studying. We have always used local locations and environments to bring student into direct contact with geographical or environmental issues in a fun way, giving opportunities or discovery.

Transport, Offsite Activities & Visits
All offsite visits are very local to Hilltop and on A & B roads. Group leaders are covered by Hilltop insurance if they are over the age of 21 and have a full driving licence. On arrival you will be required to complete a transport policy form and you shall receive a vehicle familiarisation brief from the Hilltop Staff.
